While it’s not necessary for the homeowner to be present for the entire service, we do prefer that someone is available at the time of the crew’s arrival to provide direction and address any questions from either the crew or the customer.
Additionally, we require someone to be present at the completion of the service to conduct a final inspection and handle payment before the crew departs.

You will need to supply the fence posts based on your size preference (4×4, 5×5, 6×6). You will also need to provide two bags of concrete per post. (We recommend Fence n’ Post Quikrete)
We set fence posts around 3 ft into the ground.
As long as your town bylaws permit it, we can make it happen! However, we strongly recommend using at least a 6×6 wood post for a fence of that height, as smaller posts won’t be able to support the weight effectively and can break.
This is completely normal for wood. Over time, as the wood dries, it may crack and warp. However, this should not affect the integrity of the fence. If you experience any issues with your gate due to this, we offer free gate latch adjustments to address your concerns.
We believe in the saying “no news is good news!” If you don’t hear from us, you can expect us to arrive on your scheduled date.
For peace of mind, if you would like to confirm your scheduled service date, please feel free to contact our office.
If rain is forecasted on your scheduled service date, don’t worry! If it rains in the morning, our crew leaders will contact you to inform you whether we will delay our arrival to later in the day or reschedule the job to our next available day. If you don’t hear from us, you can expect us to arrive as planned.
Unless specified that you are booked in the afternoon the crew should arrive around 9:00am-9:30am. Although this is all dependent on your location from our shop which is located in Lasalle ON.
Utility Locates This includes your hydro, gas, water, or any other underground utilities.
Fence Post Drill Setting Service you will need the posts and two bags of concrete per post.
Please make sure the area where the service is being provided is clear of any landscaping, animal fecal matter, garbage, furniture, etc. prior to our arrival.
Failure to do so will result in a rescheduling fee of $150.00.
You can complete your utility locates online for free at Ontario One Call. It typically takes about five business days to receive all your locates, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with us.
Locates must be completed within 30 days of the scheduled service date. These are mandatory, and we cannot begin any digging on your property without them!
Yes, it’s required by law! If we are digging on your property, utility locates must be completed before our arrival and within 30 days of the scheduled dig.
We are not responsible for locating or confirming property lines. Homeowners must contact their local municipality, land surveyor, or property management office to obtain accurate boundary information.
Please note that we do not read or interpret property surveys. All property lines must be clearly identified and marked by the homeowner using stakes or flags prior to installation. This ensures that the fence is placed correctly and avoids any disputes or encroachments.
Customers are responsible for submitting their own utility locates when requesting our post-setting services. A printed copy of the completed locates must be available on-site for the crew to review upon arrival.
For full fence installations, we handle all public utility locates on behalf of our customers.
Please note that these locates cover public utilities only. Any private utilities, such as sprinkler systems, pool lines, landscape lighting, private gas lines, etc. must be identified and marked by the homeowner prior to installation.
